The “King of Indian Roads” just got a massive upgrade!
While everyone was busy looking at the modern N150 and N160, Bajaj Auto has silently launched the 2026 Updated Version of the classic Pulsar 150 yesterday (December 24, 2025).
This isn’t an all-new bike, but it fixes the biggest complaints fans had: Lighting and Technology. If you love the OG muscular design but hated the halogen bulbs, this update is for you.
Here is everything you need to know about the new Pulsar 150 “Classic” 2026.
What’s New?
Bajaj has kept the legendary “Wolf-Eyed” silhouette but modernized the features.
- LED Headlamp: Gone is the old yellow halogen bulb. The 2026 model gets a sharp LED Projector Headlamp for better night visibility.
- LED Indicators: The flimsy halogen indicators are replaced with sleek, flexible LED Turn Signals.
- Fully Digital Console: The old analog tachometer is gone. It now features the Infinity Display (from the N160) with Bluetooth Connectivity.
- Features: Call/SMS Alerts, Phone Battery Status, and Signal Strength indicator.
- New Colors: A new “Dark Green” edition with orange graphics has been introduced, alongside the classic Black-Red and Black-Blue.
Engine & Performance: The Proven Beast
Bajaj has not touched the engine, and honestly, they didn’t need to. It retains the bulletproof reliability.
- Engine: 149.5cc, Single Cylinder, Air-Cooled (DTS-i)
- Power: 14 PS (13.8 BHP) @ 8,500 RPM
- Torque: 13.25 Nm @ 6,500 RPM
- Gearbox: 5-Speed Manual.
Note: It still uses the “Kick Start” lever on the base variant, which is a lifesaver in winters!
2026 Bajaj Pulsar 150 Price List
Bajaj has increased the price slightly (approx ₹3,000 – ₹4,000) for these upgrades.
| Variant | Old Price | New 2026 Price (Ex-Showroom) |
| Single Disc (SD) | ₹1.05 Lakh | ₹1.09 Lakh |
| SD Upgrade (LED) | ₹1.08 Lakh | ₹1.12 Lakh |
| Twin Disc (TD) | ₹1.12 Lakh | ₹1.15 Lakh |
The top-end Twin Disc variant gets fatter front forks (37mm) and a split-seat setup.
Why Buy This Over the Pulsar N150?
This is the main confusion for buyers.
- Buy the Classic 150 IF: You want the massive 15L fuel tank (N150 has 14L), the long comfortable single seat for family use, and that “heavy” stable feel on highways.
- Buy the N150 IF: You want a lighter bike with a monoshock suspension (better for cornering) and a futuristic design.
Verdict: The King Refuses to Retire
With these updates, the Pulsar 150 is now “future-proof” for another 2-3 years. It offers the perfect balance of raw power, low maintenance, and family comfort.
