New Bosch BEA 750 emission tester for economical exhaust-gas analysis

Bosch developed the new BEA 750 emission tester for automotive workshops regularly performing the exhaust-gas analyses required by law on customer vehicles with gasoline, diesel or gas drives. The tester is integrated into a new, redesigned trolley and stands out for its easy and ergonomic operation. At the same time, it also works with state-of-the-art technology. It is equipped with a solid-state drive (SSD) allowing much faster access times and being much more robust than conventional hard disks. The emission tester is operated by means of an anti-glare touch screen. In addition, a remote control is also included in the scope of delivery. The embedded operating system ensures a safe and failure-free operation. The device is pre-configured allowing its immediate application at the workshop without having to perform set-ups first. The new Bosch BEA-PC software installed onto the device complies with guideline 5 and is thusalso suitable for emission tests on vehicles complying with the EURO 6 emission standard. In future, software updates will also be available online thus ensuring the tester is always up-to-date and operating with latest data.

State-of-the-art measurement technology
The BEA 750 emission tester will substitute the Bosch devices of the BEA 150/250/350 series thus completing the range of devices complying with guideline 5. The new BEA 750 is equipped with a KTS 515 OBD module and a four-gas analyzer. Moreover, the tried and tested BEA 070 opacimeter and the BEA 030 for rotational-speed and temperature measurement are included as well. The emission-analysis test results can be printed on a strip printer. Furthermore, the integrated WLAN card also allows the wireless connection of an external printer to print out detailed DIN A4-sized test protocols. Designed for exhaust-gas analyses without diagnosis, the BEA 750 can be operated in a very economical manner. If, for instance, a workshop performs some 20 emission tests per month, the device will pay off within just one year.
